High Praise Retrievers is located just six miles north of Giddings, Texas. The 21-acre facility includes scattered trees on sloping terrain and 4 training ponds, which include the new technical water that was created in the fall of 2003. The main kennel, built in 2000, was designed to accomodate 20 dogs in covered runs and give easy access to on-property training grounds as well as an adjacent airing yard. In 2002, an additional 8 runs were built beside a separate whelping area to meet the needs of dogs in season, mother's of young puppies, and pups under the age of one. High Praise Retrievers also boasts a small cabin created specially to host clients and out-of-town visitors who come to train.
Each 4 x 10 covered run is equipped with a raised sleeping
area and misters for those warmer Texas days.
